VSP 5-Year Report Due. Share Your Stewardship Today
The five-year report is due. We need you!
Benton County's Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP) five year status report is due to the Washington State Conservation Commission (WSCC) on January 12th, 2021. The WSCC, VSP Technical Panel, and VSP Statewide Advisory Committee will review the plan to determine whether the work plan's protection goals and benchmarks are being met. If they are not met, Benton County may fail out of the program which would lead to loss of funding for conservation practices and potential for new regulatory critical area protections.
If you are a farmer, rancher, orchardist, etc. in Benton County, help to meet plan goals by sharing your stewardship through the landowner checklist available here. The checklist can be completed anonymously.
